Phaedrus

"The one who walks in front
guards his friend.
The one who knows the way
safeguards his companion."
I want an Enkidu,
An opposite,
An other half.

"Very pleasant have you been to me.
Your love to me
Was wonderful,
Passing the love of women."
I want a Jonathan,
A lover to recline with
And sing all night.

"My lyre shall celebrate thee,
My song shall tell thy fate.
And thou shalt become a flower
Inscribed with my regrets."
I want a Hyacinthus,
A natural man,
To write poems for.

"Behold, how good
And how pleasant it is
For Brethren to dwell
Together in Unity."
I want a Sergius,
With whom to worship
And to die
As one.

He lied when he said April is the cruelest month. He seems to think that nothing is more depressing than false hope springing from dead longing. I beg to differ. I am at my darkest when in October the verdant desire that was, bitten by frost, shrivels into dead, crunchy claws. And Libras are born. Boo.

Are you a frickin' Libra? I take back every sexually charged comment I ever tossed at you. Libras and Geminis should not mix. Between the two of us, there would be seven opinions.

That explains a lot. since my charge is +1.602x10-19 coulombs, we will never be able to meet.

And I am not opining at you. I am opining away for you.
